It’s been a while since my last update on the garden I’ve got going on, and A LOT has happened the last time I checked in. Out of all the seeds I planted, only the dill and spinach didn’t grow.. which isn’t a total loss. Two month after the seeds have went in the ground, it actually looks like I know what I’m doing, even though I don’t. It’s surprising what happens when you get some help from Mother Nature and it rains frequently (helps the water bill too).
I was a little skeptical about the pepper plants because for the longest time, they looked like they were on their last leg and ready for the graveyard, but they’ve rebounded a ton and are flowering, with some of them even producing some peps. The taters are looking great, the cucumbers, carrots, peas, beans, squash and zucchini are all looking like they’ll produce. The ONLY thing in the garden I really want to do well is the watermelon, and right now they’re coming along, but not where I thought they’d be at this time. If I even get 1 watermelon this year, I’ll consider it a success for them.
