Like a lot of people, my garage is my sanctuary. I’m not the only one who uses it, but I’m the one that uses it the most.

Plus, it’s one of the few places my wife lets me decorate. I’m sure by now you’ve heard of my extensive velvet painting collection? If not, here’s a sample of some of them that are hanging up.

I’ve added something a bit different to the collection.

As I was perusing social media yesterday, I saw a post from home town rink giving away some free stuff and I jumped at the opportunity.

This relic has been sitting in storage under the stands for a few decades collecting dust, and as you can see, still works! I believe this was the original clock in the Wolseley Sportsplex. It needs a few lights and some detailing to clean it up, but this will be the new focal point of the garage. Now I just need to find board to get it working properly!
