Bubble Concerts are here

Well, I’m not sure how this will catch on, but if it’s the difference between going to live show and not, I’m all for it!

The Flaming Lips may have found a way around the COVID-19 pandemic by performing to fans in isolation bubbles, while inside their own isolation bubbles.

The band recently performed in Oklahoma to 100 fans while shooting music videos for their songs “Assassins of Youth” and “Brother Eye” from their new album “American Head.” The band was able to capture enough footage for the videos by only performing the songs twice each.

Wayne Coyne, frontman of The Flaming Lips, posted video to his social media accounts.
