Led Zeppelin – RANDOM facts and cool schtuff… For a Music Nerd…

Okay, I’m a nerd? I know it. But I found this list of where you can hear some of the “imperfections” in Led Zeppelin’s recordings. And I mean that as a GOOD thing, because bands that over-use auto-tune and over-dub things, that’s just fake to me. So THIS just proves how raw, yet awesome Led Zeppelin IS.

I found this list that I’ve actually spent time verifying! Here are some things you can find in certain Led Zeppelin tunes:

A phone audibly rings at 1:38 in The Ocean, off Houses of the Holy.
At the beginning of “Immigrant Song,” there are some clipped noises. They’re sounds of the count in and the tapes beginning to record the tracks for the song.
In Over the Hills and far away, you can hear John Bonham’s squeaky drum pedal. Actually there are a few tracks you can hear that on.

I got these from the Houston Press: Check out the FULL article HERE!
