It all starts again today!

Monday, August 30th, 2010

From here on in I’ll be blogging every single day I’m working. If i’m feeling like a keener I’ll maybe even blog on weekends, but that’s doubtful! The only exception will be when I’m on holidays.

To get myself back in the routine of blogging everyday, I’m going to take it easy, no use jumping right back in to the swing of things. It’s a slow recovery process!

I’ve got a new feature starting up today over the lunch hour. Evan’s Lunch Box featuring the 90’s @ Noon. remember the Grunge Plunge? Well take that and make it in to an hour long and you’ve got the 90’s @ Noon!

Friday night on The Grind House I was giving away Murderdoll cd’s, so a big thanks to everyone who emailed in to get a copy of one, I’ll let you know when they come in. Something that was brought to my attention that was missed was my posting of the list of what was played. So with that being said, here’s what I played in case you missed it!

Murderdolls – My Dark Place Alone

Murderdolls – Blood Stained Valentine

Into Eternity – Timeless Winter

As I Lay Dying – Beyond Our Suffering

Nightfall – Astron Black

Kick Axe – Nothings Gonna Stand In Our Way

Black Sabbath – Children of the Grave

Aganol – Spiritual Fraud

Return To Earth – Back of my Head

Abide No Master – War Child

My drought is coming to an end!

I’m all over this blog starting next week. At least once per day I promise!

Sp just a quick update today.

We have a new #1 on The Wolf’s Top 20 countdown which you can twice every weekend, Saturday’s at 10am and Sunday night’s at 8!

The Pump Patio Party is going to rule tonight like it does every night! You still have time to enter to win one as well, just head back to www.thewolfrocks.com and enter to win one under the current contests page!

I’m kicking off the Grind Hosue tonight with a couple of tracks from the forth coming Murderdolls album “Women and Children Last.” If you want a copy, it’s out on Tuesday, or you can email me, evan@thewolfrocks.com to get yourself a free copy courtesy of Roadrunner Records! I’m also working on an interview with Jordie for next week!

Have a great weekend!

Holy Moly it’s been a while

Thursday, August 12th, 2010

Now even though it’s been almost 2 months since I’ve last made up a blog, please don’t expect a lot. I assure you come the end of the month, they will be frequent and frequently awesome!

So my apologies because I know there are at least 10’s of 10’s of you that read my blog!

2 quick things that make me mad before I leave.

1) I hate waking up with a Charlie Horse in my calf in the middle of the night.

2) When movie premieres and football games land on the same night. Now we haven’t haven’t had a premiere in a really long time, so I feel I should go watch The Expendables tonight before anyone else gets the chance to. I mean come on, Stallone, Statham, Li, Lundgren, Couture, Austin, Crews, Rourke, Willis all in one movie, it has to be awesome right!

But on the other had, The Riders have a huge game tonight against BC. So many decisions what is one to do?

Charlie horses in the middle of the night are still far worse though!

Crazy Flood Video

Tuesday, June 22nd, 2010

I know lots of people that haven’t seen pictures or videos of the flood that is effecting Highway 1 by Maple Creek, so I figured I’d help out a little bit.

I know it seems like hurricane season in Saskatchewan, but let’s be honest, things can always be worse!
