Super Bowl and other stuff!

Monday, February 7th, 2011

So what did you think of the big game? I tell you the Packers are the epitome of resilience…did they do a great job overcoming injuries all season not to mention 3 big injuries yesterday….I feel happy for a guy like Q-B Aaron Rodgers..talk about emerging from Brett Favre’s shadow…He led the team to big victories all of them on the road..this team was 8-6 at one point….Imagine how tough it would be to replace Favre in Green Bay..that is like stepping in and filling the shoes of Elvis or Oprah….and he did it…

Where did you watch the game…did you throw a party….did you go to one? here are the top signs you were at a bad SuperBowl party…

the first thing out of your hosts mouth: ” before we turn on the game, may I discuss the role Jesus plays in my life?”

another thing you don’t want to hear from your host…another boner…damn you Troy Aikman…

you hear this one too….I didn’t want to miss a second of the game, so I didn’t wash my hands in the bathroom. Hey, let me get in on those nachos….

and lets wrap things up by playing the answer C..Super Bowl edition…

Ben Roethlisberger was disappointed that he didn’t:

a-score on his last drive

b-play better

C-TRAP FERGIE IN THE RESTROOM

and Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers teared-up when he:

a) got the Super Bowl MVP award…

b) got a call from his father.

C) Realized He Had To Fly Back To Friggen Green Bay, Wisconsin…

Have a great day and stay warm…Ballsy

Dress your dog for the weather!

Tuesday, February 1st, 2011

When someone dresses their dog up in clothing, it always seems like it’s verging on animal cruelty. But it turns out that an extra layer does help some dogs stay warm.

Here’s why: Vets say the normal body temperature for a dog is between 101 and 102 degrees. In cold weather like this, they start feeling cold before we do. As the temp drops so does their blood pressure, and puts them at risk for kidney damage and hypothermia…Bigger dogs are fine in the cold as long as they’re active and have a healthy diet..

Water proof coats, sweaters and boots are all good for smaller dogs..However don’t buy your dog a hat. It really looks dumb and experts say it makes them mad..It also can throw off their equilibrium.

Some music news for you…Megadeth, Godsmack and Disturbed will headline This Year’s Mayhem Festival…The travelling road show will include 26 dates beginning July 9th in San Bernadino California…

Bill says he always wanted to party with Charlie Sheen…I wonder if this will change his opinion or further cement it. A “source” says in the last 6 months Chuck has spent 500 thousand dollars on hookers and blow….Wow…that’s impressive!!!

Did you hear a Canadian woman earned the world’s first Master’s Degree in The Beatles..When reached for comment, her parents forced a smile and said ” We couldn’t think of a better way to spend 130 grand.” Have a great day and keep warm! Ballsy
