It’s a Grey Day after the 98th Grey Cup!
Monday, November 29th, 2010People are mad and I get it...and if you'd like Ballsy to
be your punching bag so be it I'm here for ya!!
Here's what I mean:
Enough already, regarding these childish rants about how
much you dislike the choice of Bachman Turner as the
halftime artists. Get over yourselves, If you really want
to see Justin Bieber as halftime entertainment, submit that
to the CFL.
You know, there are people who like rock music (you are a
rock station, or at least that's what your promo states)
who like Randy and Fred. I am one of those people. I also
happen to know that they have a new album out. Of course, I
would never know that from stations like the Wolf, who will
play the Cults 'she sells sanctuary' once a day, every day.
Or the station that has been getting the Led out by playing
'Whole Lotta Love' ad nauseum for the last 10 years. Like
the songs, but your classic playlist is a foot wide and an
inch deep. (that would indicate you/your program director
have no depth Ballsy, since I suspect you'd question what
the heck I was talking about
Seems to me the CFL is doing a pretty damn good job of
promoting itself. I think you reported last week that the
most watched game in history was played recently.
Clint
You are missing the point Clint...Justin Bieber is
Canadian, he's the hottest thing going right now....and
you're supposed to attract a new audience who wouldn't
otherwise tune into the game...most of B-T's fans are
watching already...they were great in their day..that day
has passed....and no I don't like Bieber but I can look at
the big picture and the CFL is not going to attract new
younger fans with that show...The Trews would have been way
better! oh and one more thing Clint I have nothing to do
with music.....or what we play that isn't my job....I'm
here to be opinionated and get people talking..Judging by
your email "I'm Takin Care Of Business..thanks for
listening....
I did get this email:
C'mon Ballsy,
>
> I was eagery awaiting the song from their new album
"Takin' Care of My
> Prostate".
The bright side to losing in the Grey Cup is that we didn't
pick up the Gibson's Finest 'Best 4-14 Team In Football
History Award'.
Take that Bomber Fans!
Cheers, Dave in Montreal.
Have a great day....and remember its only a game we'll be
back next year...Go Riders!!
