IRON MAIDEN’s new-and-improved branded private tour plane will land at Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood International Airport on Friday (February 19). Touchdown is expected at 3:15 p.m.
The Boeing 747 jumbo is named “Ed Force One” after the band’s mascot, Eddie, who has appeared on all of their album covers, and graces the plane’s tail.
“Ed Force One” is being piloted on the band’s world tour by MAIDEN frontman Bruce Dickinson.
Said the group: “Ed Force One, our new 747 jumbo, is all branded-up, ready to go and Bruce has his shiny new 747 type rating so he can fly the plane.”
